Helen Ye Plehn is the founder of Helen Creates Beauty, host of the Aura Evolution Podcast, and the creator of The Aura Color Wheel™, a soul discovery system that helps individuals uncover their life purpose through their unique Soul Aura Color. Her book, The Aura Color Wheel: What Your Soul’s Aura Reveals About Your Inner Gifts, Wounds, and Lessons, published by Hay House, is available worldwide.
Helen is an aura reader, intuitive painter, angel channeler, certified crystal healer, and third-generation Feng Shui master. She is also a certified yoga and meditation teacher, Ayurveda practitioner, Vedic astrologer, and Theta healer. Through her multidimensional work, she bridges ancient wisdom traditions with modern spiritual psychology to guide others in awakening their inner truth.
Her artwork has been exhibited at the Laguna Art Gallery, Peacock Art Gallery, Orange County Fine Arts Showcase Gallery, and the Huntington Beach Art Center. She has also taught acrylic painting, meditation, and creative expression at the Sherman Library & Gardens in Newport Beach and the Huntington Beach Art Center.
Born in Guangzhou, China and raised in Hong Kong, Helen now lives in Huntington Beach, California. She holds a degree in psychology and social work from Nanjing University and a master’s degree in interior architecture and design from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. She later pursued Ph.D. studies in tourism and hospitality management at Temple University, where she specialized in human sensory experience design and published multiple academic papers.
At the heart of her work is a mission to help others reconnect with their inner light and live in alignment with their soul’s purpose—with clarity, joy, and fulfillment.
Helen’s spiritual foundation was shaped by her teachers Shiva Das and Ed Zadlo at Yoga on Main in Philadelphia, where she was introduced to the Integral Yoga and Viniyoga traditions rooted in the lineage of Mata Amritanandamayi Devi (“Amma”).
She deepened her studies in Ayurveda through the American Institute of Vedic Studies and Kerala Ayurveda Academy, and has trained extensively in meditation, crystal healing, intuitive development, and energy work with teachers including Ashley Leavy, Rebecca Campbell, James Van Praagh, Kyle Gray, Charles Virtue, Morwenna Bugano, and Vianna Stibal.
As a lifelong student of the soul, Helen integrates systems such as Western and Vedic astrology, numerology, the Enneagram, Human Design, Gene Keys, and Feng Shui into her work, creating a multidimensional approach to soul discovery and transformation

Helen has been on a spiritual journey of healing, awakening, and purpose for over a decade. Since 2012, she has experienced multiple initiatory awakenings that transformed her path—from navigating anxiety and depression to fully embodying her soul’s purpose with joy and fulfillment. Today, her work is devoted to helping others walk that same path of remembrance and alignment.
Through deep meditation and past life regression practices, Helen has recalled lifetimes across different eras and dimensions—including lives as an artist, writer, scholar, and spiritual devotee. These experiences have expanded her understanding of the soul’s evolution and the many roles we embody across lifetimes.
During her spiritual awakening, Helen began receiving intuitive guidance and channeled visions from her spirit team. Through these transmissions, she was guided to co-create The Aura Color Wheel™, a system designed to help individuals understand their soul’s gifts, wounds, and evolutionary path.
In one profound vision, she was guided through an astral journey to the Hathor Temple in Dendera, Egypt, where she connected with ancient wisdom encoded in the Dendera Zodiac. This system of 36 archetypal energies mirrors the 36 Soul Aura Color profiles within the Aura Color Wheel, forming the foundation of her work.
Inspired by this system, Helen created her signature program, Embody Your Light, to guide others in activating and integrating their full aura spectrum. Through this work, hundreds of students have begun to embody their gifts and live their soul’s purpose with greater clarity, joy, and fulfillment.
Helen is a creative conduit who experiences art as a sacred channel for divine expression. She believes that artists are vessels of higher consciousness—and that through creativity, we reconnect with the deeper unity of all life.
Working intuitively through her clairvoyant vision, Helen paints what she perceives through her third eye. For her, color is not merely aesthetic—it is energetic. Each piece is a synthesis of color, crystal, and sacred geometry, intentionally composed to carry specific frequencies that support healing, alignment, and manifestation.
She has created numerous crystal grid paintings for clients, each designed to amplify intentions and bring high-vibrational Feng Shui energy into their homes and spaces.
Before fully stepping into her work as an artist and spiritual teacher, Helen founded her Feng Shui interior design studio, See Beauty Design LLC. There, she designed energetically aligned homes and custom surface patterns tailored to each client’s unique frequency. As a third-generation Feng Shui master, she often senses the energy of a space before she senses the energy of a person.
