As a symbol of purity and peace, waterlily has a special place in my heart. One of my favorite places to meditate is to sit next to a waterlily and Koi pond. The calmness it brings is so healing. I hope this painting brings you as much peace and joy as it brought me while I was painting it.
The Chinese character on the pot means zen. There is an amethyst crystal heart on the left side of the pot and a citrine tower on the right. They bring in peace and prosperity. The background features a golden hand-painted mandala Flower of Life: one of the basic sacred geometry shapes. The Flower of Life symbolizes creation and reminds us of the unity of everything.
